Born in 1957 in Gulbarga, Vijay Siddaramappa Hagargundgi received his formal education in art from the Ideal Fine Art Society's MMK College of Visual Art in Karnataka. Having won a scholarship, he then went to study further at Santiniketan.

Crafted by past experts of the workmanship like Banayya Garudadri. It spread incredible consciousness of the complexities of the fine art. The style and the topics are, in some sense, a subordinate of Surpur style of art impact.
